After winning first and third qualification rounds in this weekends round of the Swedish Rallycross Championship, Thomas should have been on pole position in the A-final. But the race authorities in Kalix in the north of Sweden gave Thomas a black flag for an incident in the first heat, and with an DNF in the second heat it practically meant the day was over.
Fastest time and BTD in the third heat had no impact of the result of the weekend, but Thomas showed that he was the fastest guy in Kalix and that the Hyundai Accent WRC is competitive.
