In front of 20 000 spectators the swedish Rallycross EM took place in Höljes in the northern parts of Värmland, 1-3 july.
After coming home from the norwegian RallyCross EM in Momarken 25-26 june, Thomas and the team have had only a few days of preparations of the car before arriving to the event in Höljes.
In Momarken Thomas won the B-final before the norwegian Morten Bermingrud and started to prepare himself for the A-final. Very suprisingly Thomas received a message that he had been disqualified in the B-final after a protest from Bermingrud.
The bad luck followed Thomas also in Höljes. The team had a lot of hard work finding the right settings and tyres for the track in Höljes. With technical problems in the first two rounds of qualifications Thomas could only rely on the last remaining 3:rd round wich he won. Unfourtunately the time was not good enough and Tomas ended on 8:th place in the qualification and last starting line in the C-final.
This time technical problems with the fuel-pump forced him to retire in the C-final. Mikael Jernberg won the A-final later on Sunday.
